Fair Vienna [ENA] The Holiday Fair Vienna 2024, which is ongoing from March 14th to 17th 2024 in Vienna, has once again proven to be an exceptional event within the Vienna Exhibition Halls. Featuring renowned exhibitors from the tourism industry, including Presenting Partner TUI and Partner Country Czech Republic, the event has offered visitors a diverse array of program highlights and offerings.

The opening ceremony on March 14th at 10:30 am in the ReiseArena in Hall C was graced by prominent figures from the tourism industry. Following the welcoming words by Ivo Sklenitzka, director of RX Austria, attendees were treated to a tourism talk featuring Mag. Manfred Katzenschlager, Managing Director of the Federal Party Tourism and Leisure Economy of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Gottfried Math, director of TUI Austria, Phillies Ramberger, President of the Austrian Association for Tourism, and Astrid Steharnig-Staudinger, Managing Director of the Austrian National Tourist Office.

Accompanied by the musical stylings of the Zymbalkapelle Strážničan, František Reismüller, General Director of the Czech Tourism Authority, representing this year's partner country, also addressed the audience. Following this, State Secretary for Tourism, Mag. Susanne Kraus-Winkler, officially inaugurated the fair. A standout feature of this year's fair is its extensive program diversity. For the first time, two stages – the ReiseArena in Hall C and the Panorama Stage in Hall D – each offered their own unique programs, providing visitors with an even wider selection of topics and events. Additionally, the popular Travel Cinema was complemented by a new Silent Cinema, allowing attendees to get travel impressions through headphones.

In addition to the wide range of information and advisory services, the Ferien-Messe Wien also offered an extensive culinary offering, including the "Flavours by Ferien-Messe" stage, inviting visitors to discover the diversity of international and national cuisine. Furthermore, a varied program for families and children added to the appeal of the event. Various attractions such as a scavenger hunt through Halls C and D, organized by media partner All4Family, the climbing tower of the Austrian Alpine Club, or the autograph session with children's radio favorite Radino on Sunday, March 17th, promised to make the visit a special experience for families.

In Hall D, organizer RX focused on holiday and excursion highlights in the Alpine Republic. From the breathtaking nature of Styria to the cultural treasures of Lower Austria and the sunny lifestyle of Burgenland, visitors could explore a diverse range of offerings showcasing the beauty and diversity of Austria. The Holiday Fair Vienna 2024 promised a four-day journey around the world, which proved to be equally exciting for professionals and travel enthusiasts alike.
